Hi! I'm Milenka Živković, a ceramic artist born in Argentina and now based in Zagreb, Croatia. I am passionate about the materialization of ideas into tangible experiences and objects and the transformation that occurs to people when they get involved in such processes.
In my early twenties I started exploring different clays, studying glazes, and trying to find my own voice through the work. It took me a while to stop wanting to understand through the mind something that is so evident in the body when we do, create and accept the tempo of the making…
Today I'm part of Otvoreni Studio, a creative hub in the center of Zagreb. I spend most of my time building unique ceramic pieces, facilitating experimental workshops, as Meditation and Clay and curated team-building activities. Also, I organize arts and crafts fairs where makers gather to exhibit what they do and exchange ideas.
